Watch: Drunk passenger bites attendant's finger, forces Turkish Airlines flight to make emergency landing

In a shocking incident of unruly behaviour by a drunk passenger, a Turkish Airlines flight had to make an emergency landing after the situation got out of control. The incident came to light after a video was uploaded on Twitter showing the whole incident.

A Jakarta-bound Turkish Airlines flight, saw the ugly scenes after a flight attendant tried to calm an intoxicated 48-year-old Indonesian passenger identified as Muhammad John Jaiz Boudewijn, who bit her finger and created a ruckus on the airplane.

Shared on Twitter by Nuice Media, the video has gone viral, in which one can see how the fight ensued which caused a lot of trouble for the flight attendant and other passengers. The video was captioned, "An Indonesian passenger on a Turkish Airlines flight TK56 to CGK yesterday was recorded assaulting a flight attendant, forcing the flight to land at KNO temporarily before resuming. Turns out he’s a Batik Air pilot returning from a holiday in Turkey."




The video showed how the chaotic situation unfolded, when the drunk passengers started throwing punches at the flight attendant and the situation quickly escalated as other passengers and crew members also intervened. Meanwhile, one flight attendant tried to give it back to the drunk passenger and tried to kick him.

“Because of the ruckus on the plane, Turkish Airlines dropped the Indonesian passenger who was injured at Kualanamu Airport, Medan," said a spokesperson of the Jakarta Metro Police.

Reportedly, the passenger is being treated at Kualanamu Health Clinic, while the incident is under investigation.

Since being shared, the video has received more than 1,000 likes and has also been retweeted by 400 users.
