Coca-Cola is one of the most popular drinks on any menu and is also considered to be one of the oldest drinks. It has evolved over the years and many today may not even be aware of the fact that there used to be a specific way to serve the drink at eateries. Most restaurants have moved away from the traditional way of serving the drink, but one New York diner has retained the practice.

The video of the preparation was posted by Nicolas Heller on Instagram and was captioned, "Lexington Candy Shop is a 97-year-old luncheonette on the upper east side that still makes their Coke the old-fashioned way." The video has garnered a lot of attention online.

Many were surprised by the fact that there is a different way to serve the drink. Some were amused by the old way of serving the drink. The video has amassed over 275k likes and has received a ton of reactions as well.

"Perfect scoop pre dap," wrote one user on the popular social media site. Another stated, "Yeah I still make Coke the old fashion way too."

"I used to go here as a child. My mom would get me coke syrup to help a yucky tummy. I’m so happy part of my childhood remains," wrote a third person.
