'Was given 6 months to live': Adnan Sami talks about life before weight loss transformation

The famous music composer-singer Adnan Sami talked about the time in his life when he was not able to sleep properly and had to sit straight while sleeping.

In a recent interview with Brut India, the 'Lift Kara De' singer said when he wanted to get inside the car, he could not even lift his legs and had to look for his driver's assistance. A few years back, the famous singer underwent a massive transformation when he lost about 160 kilos.

The singer recalled that at a point in his life, the doctors told him he had only six months to live.


Though people used to call him cute, he faced a lot of health problems at that time.

The 'Tera Chehra' singer shared he had sleep apnea and could not sleep lying down and had to sleep by sitting straight up. His legs were so heavy that he could not lift them on his own and needed his drivers to help him put his legs inside the car.

Adnan also told that he ate a lot of brownies when he weighed 230 kilos. While recording music, he had a tray of brownies next to him and used to have brownies like people eat peanuts. Many who saw him at that time were traumatized by his behavior and still remember it.
