Want this instead of Blinkit/Zomato orders; Indian lawyer now working in Europe sparks viral debate over misplaced priorities

A recent post by a lawyer who moved to Europe took to social media to express her disappointment with the work culture in India, showing a comparison between the two nations when it comes to working.

In a series of posts on X, she said "Have been in Europe for 6 months now & have started building up a resentment towards work culture in India. You work past 12AM on a daily basis, only to earn peanuts & to not be respected as an individual. You have no time to for yourself. How have we been living like this?"

She further said that "And I get that European culture has its own flaws, but it feels unfair and there’s this sense of being cheated when I see what life could have been in India if we just had cleaner air, safer roads, just better access to basic facilities. I’d take that over Blinkit/Zomato any day."

Unfortunately India is still in the developing phase and hence it will be this way for a long time. Europe, however, will not be able to sustain the current state and will see a tougher more competitive environment, said one user.

Their wealth was built on centuries of plundering, looting, and ruthless policies that prioritized nation-building at any cost. They enforced strict laws on their people without any mercy to achieve their current status."
