Reports suggest that the accused Chintada Ravindra allegedly murdered Polipalli Mounika at his house on March 29 when his wife was in her hometown. He allegedly told the cops that Mounika had been demanding money from him while threatening to reveal their extramarital relationship to his wife.
Ravindra and had developed an affair with Mounika through a dating app in 2021, a resident of Vizag city. According to reports, Ravindra’s wife had left for her hometown in Vizianagaram a few weeks ago, leaving him alone at home. On Sunday afternoon (March 29), Mounika visited Ravindra’s house after receiving a phone call from him.

The couple reportedly stayed together for several hours but got into a fight in the evening. In a fit of rage, Ravindra allegedly stabbed her to death and dismembered her body. Some body parts were packed into a bag and destroyed at an isolated location, while others were reportedly kept in his refrigerator.
Police said Ravindra later went to the station, confessed to the crime, and surrendered. Officers recovered several body parts from his residence, but the head was missing, and authorities suspect he disposed of it elsewhere. A special team has been formed to locate the head and the remaining body parts.

Why did Navy employee kill his lover?
According to reports, Chintada told the police that he had paid her Rs 3.5 lakh so far, and that she had taken his employee identity card to extort money from him. As a result, he had created a duplicate card in order to continue attending his duties. After surrendering at the local police station, Ravindra’s residence was searched, and police recovered several body parts from his refrigerator.According to reports, after allegedly dismembering the body, he cleaned the flat to remove bloodstains and even used a room freshener to mask the odour.
