Vivo V70 Elite, V70 launched: Check price, specifications, display, camera, battery, when and where to buy

Vivo has launched its new V70 Series 5G in India today, introducing two models, Vivo V70 and Vivo V70 Elite, with upgraded processors, Zeiss-backed cameras, and slim bezels. The smartphones are priced in the mid-range segment and will be available to buy soon after the official announcement, with the launch event being streamed live online.

Vivo V70 and V70 Elite launch

The Vivo V70 Series 5G launch is being livestreamed on YouTube, allowing viewers to watch the unveiling in real time.

The new lineup follows the V60 and V60e models launched earlier and aims to strengthen Vivo’s presence in the mid-premium 5G smartphone segment in India.

Vivo V70 and V70 Elite Specs, Design and Display

The Vivo V70 Series 5G will feature 1.25mm narrow bezels, which the company claims are the slimmest in the under Rs. 50,000 segment.

The phones will come with a 6.59-inch 1.5K display offering 459 ppi pixel density, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 5,000 nits peak brightness for a bright and smooth visual experience.

Vivo V70 Elite,V70 Processor, software and performance

The Vivo V70 Elite will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, while the standard Vivo V70 will run on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor.

Both smartphones will run on OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. The company announced that both Vivo V70 and Vivo V70 Elite will get security updates for six years.

In the camera department, the V70 Series will feature a Zeiss-powered 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary sensor with optical image stabilisation, paired with a 50-megapixel telephoto camera and an ultrawide lens. Vivo V70 series gets 5 Zeiss backed multifocal portrait modes.

On the front, the phones are likely to include a 50-megapixel selfie camera.

The lineup is also expected to house a 6,500mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging support, designed for long usage and quick recharging.
