Vivo, Realme, Asus gear up to launch phones this week. Check specs, other details

April seems to be a busy month in the consumer tech calendar! Vivo is set to introduce the T2 5G and T2X 5G, while Realme plans to launch Realme Narzo N55 and Asus will unveil the Asus ROG Phone 7.

Vivo T2, T2X 5G

Vivo is rumored to sport an FHD+ AMOLED display with a peak brightness of up to 1300 nits and a 360Hz touch sampling rate to T2 series smartphones.


Vivo T2X 5G will be equipped with a 64MP primary camera with OIS as well as electronic image stabilization (EIS), accompanied with a 2MP bokeh lens. On the front, there will be a 16MP shooter for selfies and video chats.

In terms of performance, T2 will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 695 5G chipset. However, there have been rumors suggesting that the T2x variant may come with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chip and run on Android 13.

Vivo has announced that the T2 series will be launched on April 11 at 12 PM.

Realme Narzo N55

Realme's latest handset is tipped to feature a 6.72-inch FHD+ 90Hz LCD display. In terms of performance, it could be powered by Helio G88 SoC.

If leaks are to be believed, it will house a 5,000 mAh battery with 33W SUPERVOOC fast charging. Narzo N55 will run on Realme-skinned Android 13.

Realme Narzo N55 will launch on April 12 at 12 PM.

Asus ROG Phone 7

Asus's next gaming handset is tipped to flaunt a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 165Hz refresh rate. ROG Phone 7 is expected to arrive with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.

Moreover, to keep the game running, it is said to house a 6,000 mAh battery with 65W fast charging. In terms of camera, it will feature a triple camera setup on the back -- 50MP, 13MP and 5MP. There's also a 32MP camera for selfies and video chats.

Asus ROG Phone 7 debuts on April 13 at 5:30 PM.
