VITEEE 2023: Check revised exam dates, registration open till March 31

The Vellore Institute of Technology(VIT) has announced the revised exam dates of VITEEE 2023, which will be conducted from April 17-April 23. The exam will be conducted in the scheduled period across the centres in India and abroad. Registration for VITEEE 2023 has begun and will remain open till March 31. Previously, the exam was planned to take place from April 15 to April 21.

Candidates can register for VITEEE on the official website viteee.vit.ac.in, the registration for which is currently open and has started.

For appearing for the VITEEE exam, the candidates need to have secured a minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the 12 Board exam or Intermediate exam. However, the candidates from SC, ST and those from Jammu and Kashmir/ Ladakh and the North Eastern states need to have a minimum aggregate of 50% in the above mentioned subject combination in 12th board exam.


VIT conducts a computer-based engineering entrance exam for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes in various branches of the VIT group of Institutions.

What is the duration and marking of the VITEEE?
The duration of VITEEE is 2 hours 30 minutes. It is a computer-based exam, with multiple-choice questions. There are a total of 125 questions, with questions in Maths/Biology, 35 questions in Physics and 35 questions in Chemistry, 10 in Aptitude, 5 in English. 1 mark is given for every right answer and 0 for the wrong answer.
