Former India opener Virender Sehwag has reacted to reports that Team India was handed 'cold' food and sandwiches after a training session in Sydney.

Reports said that Team India players were offered cold sandwiches and falafel after training session on Tuesday. Several players refused the offering, opting for meals in their hotel rooms instead.

The after-practice menu is almost the same for all the teams. But Indian players prefer hot food, which for them is a must after an intense training session

Sehwag was unimpressed with this and took to Twitter to say he believes that India is well ahead of western nations in terms of proper hospitality.

Sehwag said the days when Western countries provided excellent hospitality were long gone.

"Gone are the days when one used to think that the Western countries offer so good hospitality. India are way ahead of most western countries when it comes to providing hospitality of the highest standards." his tweet said.

The ICC has said that it is analyzing the problem and has promised to resolve it.
