Actor Ranveer Singh has been ranked the the most valued celebrity for endorsements in 2022, according the a new ‘Celebrity Brand Valuation’ report by Kroll. The 'Simmba' star's brand value has been pegged at $181.7 million.

Virat Kohli has been ranked number two in the Kroll list, followed by actor Akshay Kumar at the third position. Gangubai Kathiawadi actor Alia Bhatt got the fourth spot in the list. Meanwhile, actor and Ranveer Singh's wife Deepika Padukone was ranked at the fifth position in the league of India’s top five celebrity brand endorsers in 2022.

Apart from Ranveer, Virat Kohli's brand value was said to be at $176.9 million, Akshay Kumar's at $153.6 million, Alia Bhatt's at $102.9 million and Deepika Padukone's at $82.9 million. Alia Bhatt, while retaining the fourth position in the rankings, crossed the $100 million milestone in her brand value.

For the first time South Indian stars – Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna – made it to the list of India’s top 25 celebrities. Their brand values were pegged at $31.4 million and $25.3 million respectively. The overall brand value of the top 25 celebrities in 2022 is estimated at $1.6 billion, an increase of 29.1% from last year.

Amongst sports celebrities, Olympics gold medalist Neeraj Chopra debuted at No. 23 ranking along with Commonwealth gold medalist PV Sindhu while Sachin Tendulkar entered the top-10 club in 2022. "... not only top cricketers but also athletes in general continue to do well, thanks to their exceptional performances on the international stage at sporting events such as the Olympics and Commonwealth Games," the report said.
