The interactions between the iconic duo, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, who played against each other at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium on Thursday have been winning the hearts of cricket fans online.

The King and Hitman in the second over of the Mumbai Indians' innings when Rohit was at the non-striker's end and Virat Kohli quite casually on his way to a field position patted Rohit, who immediately responded with a thumbs up as Kohli continued his walk with a smile.

On Thursday, Mumbai Indians beat Royal Challengers Bengaluru by seven wickets. MI, which won its previous match, was playing its fifth match while RCB was playing its sixth match of this year's IPL.



Bumrah gave MI the first wicket as he dismissed the big wicket of Kohli in his very first over. However, Faf du Plessis's 61, Rajat Patidar's 50, and Dinesh Kartik's 53 propelled RCB to 196/8 against MI.

In a dominating display, Mumbai Indians outplayed the opposition with a strong batting performance. Ishan Kishan and Rohit Sharma led the charge, setting the pace early on. Kishan's quickfire 69 off 34 balls kept MI in control, while Rohit Sharma's 38 off 24 balls provided steady support. Suryakumar Yadav's explosive 52 off just 19 balls sealed the deal for MI against RCB. The match ended in MI's favor as they secured a comfortable victory with seven wickets in hand in just 15.3 overs.
