Virat Kohli gifts his signed Indian cricket team jersey to Pakistan fast bowler Haris Rauf

In a goodwill gesture, star Indian batsman Virat Kohli gifted his signed Indian cricket team blue jersey to Pakistan fast bowler Haris Rauf after the first India-Pakistan match in Asia Cup Dubai.

The BCCI posted a video of the moment on twitter. "The match may be over but moments like these shine bright. A heartwarming gesture by Kohli as he hands over a signed jersey to Pakistan's Haris Rauf post the #INDvPAK game," BCCI tweeted.

The video has gone viral and has garnered nearly 4 lakh views on Twitter in less than 24 hours.


In the video, Kohli can be seen initially talking to the Pakistan fast bowler and later signing and gifting his jersey to Rauf. The two players also shook hands after Kohli's fine gesture.


Thousands of fans took to twitter to appreciate Kohli's gesture. "Wholesome moment," tweeted a fans, while another wrote, "The things we love to see."

Ahead of the much awaited contest between the arch-rivals, players from both countries were seen exchanging pleasantries on the sidelines of their training sessions.

Just before the Sunday encounter Kohli and Captain Rohit Sharma also had a brief chat with Pakistan skipper Babar Azam and injured pacer Shaheen Afridi.
