Virat Kohli spotted flying economy class on non-window seat after historic century. Netizens amazed

After the Kolkata match against South Africa, in which he scored a record equalling ton, Virat Kohli was seen taking an IndiGo flight to Bengaluru, according to a video doing the rounds on social media. Netizens were amazed at the batting maesto travelling economy class and on a non-window side seat. Kohli was seen wearing a face mask when he boarded the flight.

Some netizens were amazed at seeing India's batting hero "travelling in economy class unbelievable." Others envied how lucky is the co-passenger.

In the Sunday match against South Africa, Virat Kohli hit a century on his 35th birthday, equalling Tendulkar's record of 49 ODI hundreds. After the match, he said that in his wildest dream he never thought about achieving the milestone. He also admitted that for him 'Master Blaster' is always going to be a "Number one" cricketer.


In this World Cup, Kohli has so far amassed a total of 543 runs at an average of 108.60. Kohli's century against South Africa was his second of the tournament and fourth in all 50-over World Cups.

"He is always going to be number one, regardless of whatever happens. But I'm just happy that my journey has come so far that I've been able to make it here and to be able to win games for my country as he did," Kohli said in a video posted by BCCI.



Tendulkar also reacted to Kohli's comments. "Well played Virat. It took me 365 days to go from 49 to 50 earlier this year. I hope you go from 49 to 50 and break my record in the next few days," Sachin said on social media platform X.

Bollywood star Deepika Padukone earlier this year was spotted by a fan travelling economy class in an IndiGo flight. India, which has already qualified for the semis, take on Netherlands in Bengaluru on 12th Nov.
