Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma head to Rishikesh Ashram ahead of Border Gavaskar Trophy, see pics here

The Indian batter Virat Kohli and his Bollywood star wife Anushka Sharma, and their daughter Vamika have left for a vacation that includes a spiritual visit to Rishikesh's Swami Dayanand Giri Ashram. The couple also visited the ashram of Neem Karoli Baba earlier.


Fans predict that Kohli will see success at the Border Gavaskar Trophy after another spiritual visit to Swami Dayanand Ji Maharaj's samadhi at Swami Dayanand Ashram in Rishikesh.




Virat Kohli, who had been on a scoring drought recently, returned to score two centuries against Sri Lanka in the third ODI in Thiruvananthapuram and the series opener in Guwahati. He is currently on rest for the three T20Is against New Zealand. Apart from Kohli senior players like Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul, were also rested for the New Zealand T20Is and will face Australia in the Border Gavaskar Trophy in Nagpur beginning February 9.

The couple can be seen with folded hands in one of the photos from their visit that have since circulated on social media. Virat was dressed in an olive green jacket and a black shirt, while Anushka wore a white cap and a black jacket.


Kohli also paid a visit to Vrindavan with Anushka and his daughter Vamika earlier this month. During that visit, all three received Shri Parmanand ji's blessings in Vrindavan. Kohli delivered an outstanding performance in the ODI series against Sri Lanka after returning from Vrindavan.
