Viral video: Woman chants 'Hare Ram, Shree Ram' in Badrinath as monkey approaches her. What happens next will shock you

However, in this age of social media, we come across different videos that show unexpected actions and gestures of monkeys which often take us by surprise. A video showing a monkey adorably hugging a woman as she sings 'Hare Ram, Hare Krishna' bhajan has surfaced online.

The video, which has garnered massive likes and reactions on X, shows a monkey patiently listening to a woman singing "“Hare Ram Hare Ram, Ram Ram Hare Hare, Hare Krishna Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna Hare Hare” and repeatedly hugging her.

The video shows a woman sitting at an eatery shop when a monkey also comes in and sits on the table. She and other people didn’t shoo away the monkey and started singing Ram Bhajans. Initially, the monkey patiently listened to the people singing spiritual bhajans. He then sits on the lap of the woman and started hugging her.


The video was shared on X, formerly X, by a user named Anand #Indianfromsouth with the caption, "A family from Kerala was on a visit to Badrinath. They got into a restaurant for some food. A monkey followed them into the restaurant. The woman in the video then started chanting: "Hare Rama" and "Sree Ram Jai Ram". Watch the monkey's reaction" (sic)
