Viral video: Speeding car hits students of Ghaziabad college but mass brawl continues

In Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad district, a mass brawl broke out between two groups of a college. While such incidents can be dismissed as "normal", what happened next was quite shocking.

The video of the incident has gone viral now. In the video, a group of students can be seen in a mass brawl in the middle of the road. The students, probably after seeing a car speeding towards them, disperse barring two.

The speeding Honda car, meanwhile, could not break in time and hit the two remaining students from behind. Such was the impact, that both the persons were thrown off the ground. The slipper of one of the students was flung off in the air and he lands on the bonnet of another car - the video was recorded from inside of this second car.


The Honda car then comes to a stop but not the brawl. In fact, one of the students who got hit by the car was seen being slapped by another person as he got up on his feet.


The students later flee from the spot after seeing a policeman.

The incident reportedly occurred in Masuri area of Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad. As per reports, the errant driver has also been arrested.

Meanwhile, reacting to the video, Ghaziabad police said that several students have been arrested and the car has also been seized.

As per cops, the fight broke out over a petty issue. Now a case has been registered under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).


"A few college students were seen fighting with each other. During this, some people were hit by a speeding car. In connection to this incident, immediate action was by the police and a few students have been detained. They are being questioned. We have also seized the car seen in the video," said S.P. Rural Ghaziabad, Dr Iraj Raja.
