Viral video: Man orders chicken wings and fries, gets only bones and a sad note

There is no denying that food delivery services have made our lives easier. But every now and then, we get to hear some bizzare food delivery stories. In one such insident recently, an Instagram user named Damien Sanders said tha he had recently ordered chicken wings but got only bone and a sad note.

On his Instagram account, Sanders recounted the incident. According to Sanders, he placed an order for a chicken wings. But when he opened the delivered packet, he found only bones. He had ordered fries as well but there were none in the packet. To his amazement, there was a note instead.

Apparently, the delivery guy relished the chicken wings and left him the sad note.




“I’m sorry I ate your food. I’m broke and hungry. Consider it like your payin it forward I’m quitting this lame-ass job in the way. Be blessed. Your Door Dash Guy,” the note read.

The video has been viewed by thousands and liked by over a hundred people on Instagram already.

Some were sympathatic to the delivery guy though. "Its ok. forgive hime," commented one Instagram user replying to that post.

Another user told Sanders not to take any action against that delivery guy. "Sir please do not take any action against delivery boy."

This wasn't the first such incident though. In 2018, a Zomato delivery guy was seen eating a customer's food in a viral video. He was later fired by Zomato. The incident created a huge controversy in India and highlighted the plight of delivery persons who often have to work for long hours and get pitiful salaries. Sometime even customers harrass them for late delivery and other reasons. Delivery guys are also under huge pressure to timely deliver the orders.
