Viral video: Careless pedestrian causes accident between two cars but miraculously survives

You should always check both sides of a road before crossing it. People many a time forget this simple rule and cause accidents.

A woman learnt this the hard way when she almost got killed while crossing a busy road. The CCTV video of the incident has now gone viral on social networks.

The clip of the incident has been shared by ViralHog on both Twitter and Instagram.


In the video, which was captured on CCTV, three women were trying to cross a road. While two of them wait after seeing three incoming cars, the third woman carelessly tries to cross the road.

As she gets closer to the median strip, one of the car - a white sedan - on the extreme right apparently slows down. However, a black hatchback could not break in time and slammed it from behind. The sedan then swerves past the woman into the median strip itself - its rear side missing the lady just by a few inches. Meanwhile, the hatchback skids past the women without any contact as well.

Miraculously, the lady remained unharmed. The woman - perhaps shaken by the near-death experience - then returns to the original side where the other two women were waiting.

The video has already garnered over 1.4 lakh views on Twitter and over 1.1 lakh views on Instagram.

Expectedly, the netizens slammed the women for being so careless and pointed out how she caused the accident herself. "Why she strolling like she in a park," an Instagram user wrote.

Another user wrote: "She ruined many people's day."

"Why she walked back afterwards?," another user wondered.

Another Instagram user said that the woman should pay damages to both car users. "This is a collision caused by an idiotic pedestrian. This was no accident," another furious Instagram user wrote.
