The internet has a treasure trove of information, covering the most myriad of topics, but sometimes even the internet doesn't have an answer to some questions. Today's question - what do you call a fight over pappadams?

Posed by Anand Mahindra, the 'pappadam fight' refers to a video doing rounds of the internet, in which a wedding turned chaotic after the groom's friends were denied a second helping of the fried delicacy.

"‘A Pappatamasha?’ ‘Pappaplosion?’ “Pappadhamaka?’," are all the ideas Mahindra had, in his tweet asking his followers to name the spectacle.

'Pappadams' are a fried snack, similar to the North Indian 'papad', served at weddings as part of an extensive meal. When denied a second serving of the snack, tempers flared and punches were thrown at the wedding in Muttom.

Initially a verbal argument, the situation devolved into an all out brawl, with the auditorium - and its owner - paying the price for it. Muraleedharan, the owner, who later filed a police complaint about the incident, saw his venue suffer Rs 1.5 lakh in damages.

Mahindra's tweet has, however, brought up multiple suggestions, ranging from 'pappadamage' to 'papadishoom'
