The fasting period begins with the start of Ekadashi Tithi on February 23 at 01:55 PM and ends on February 24 at 01:44 PM. The fast-breaking (Parana) on Dwadashi is scheduled for February 25 between 06:50 AM and 09:08 AM. The Dwadashi Tithi ends at 12:47 PM on the same day.

Vijaya Ekadashi 2025: Rituals and Puja Vidhi

Observing Vijaya Ekadashi involves several rituals performed with devotion.


Early morning rituals: Devotees wake up early, take a holy bath, and purify their puja space.

Puja setup and offerings: A Kalash (sacred pot) is decorated with flowers and mango leaves. An idol or image of Lord Vishnu is placed on a raised platform, and an oil lamp is lit. Offerings include Panchamrit (a mix of milk, curd, honey, ghee, and sugar), flowers, fruits, and sacred Tulsi leaves.

Chanting and mantras: Devotees recite Vishnu mantras and sacred hymns, perform aarti, and seek blessings. The mantra "Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya Namah" is chanted for spiritual upliftment.
