Video of Indian woman dancing on 'Chikni Chameli' song with Irish friend goes viral

A video of an Indian woman dancing with her Irish friend to Katrina Kaif's hit song 'Chikni Chameli' has taken the internet by storm.

The video shows the woman, Sahira Taheja, dancing on the streets of Belgium on the peppy song as her friend tries to copy her moves.

Taneja shared the video with the caption that read, "We failed but had so much fun."



A couple of months ago, a clip of a Norwegian dance group dancing to 'Chura Ke Dil Mera', 'Kala Chashma' and other pop songs from Bollywood went viral on different social media platforms. The group was performing at a wedding.

The video has been viewed over seven lakh times, and it has attracted over 49,000 likes on Instagram. All the netizens seemed to love this video.

"Marvelled at how they gathered so much courage and confidence to perform. Most people, including me, are too shy," wrote one user.

"Is your friend coming to India anytime soon," asked another user.

The song, which is one of the most loved dance number, featured in Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra-starrer 2011 film 'Agneepath', However, this song was picturised on Katrina Kaif.
