Video: Bride nods off during wedding, netizens have a big laugh

An old video of a bride catching forty winks while her wedding is still in progress is now going round on the internet.

The video posted on Instagram nearly a year ago shows the bride in her wedding finery seated on the mandap and nodding off as her groom stands besides her still very actively taking part in the rituals.


The post by the bride herself with the user name 'batteredsuitcase' explained why this was so: the wedding had dragged on till dawn and she was exhausted.

"Here comes the sleepy bride (Me) When it’s already 0630 in the mrng & the wedding is still going on," she wrote in her post.

The video was apparently shot by one of the bride's friends and it is now becoming a hit on the internet.

"Cutest bride and relatable I can relate totally to it," wrote a user.

Another user blamed it on her big nose ring. "Her nose ring is bringing her face down!" said the comment.

Others pointed that with the fasting and all the exhausting rituals through the day this could happen to any bride.
