Veteran Tamil actor Vijaykumar's daughter Jayaveena gets engaged to cricketer Baba Aparajith

Popular Tamil actor Vijaykumar's daughter Jayaveena Vijaykumar has got engaged to famous cricketer Baba Aparajith, who represented team Tamil Nadu in Ranji Trophy. The couple shared the good news with their fans via social media posts.

Taking to Instagram, Jayaveena shared a picture from the engagement ceremony. The couple can be seen sitting together as they posed for the picture. Needless to say, Jayaveena looked gorgeous in a golden silk saree that she paired with a pink blouse. On the other hand, the cricketer can be seen donning a grey shirt and black pants.

Sharing the picture, Jayaveena wrote, “To new beginnings!” and dropped the hashtag 'engaged'. As soon as the picture went online, it garnered love from family, friends and fans. While Gujarat Titans player Sai Sudharsan took to the comment section and dropped several red heart emojis, Mumbai Indian Player Sanjay Yadav commented, “congrats Apar bhai.” Other famous faces such as Shreya Gopal, Arun Karthick KB, Jason Holder and Smit Patel commented on the post congratulating the couple.



For five seasons, Baba Aparajith played for the Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL). In the 2012 Under-19 World Cup, he competed for team India. The right-hand batsman, an all-rounder, led Tamil Nadu in runs scored during the 2017–18 Ranji Trophy competition. In his first-class cricketing career, he has already taken more than 100 wickets as an off-break bowler.
