Veera Simha Reddy OTT release: When and where to watch Balakrishna, Shruti Haasan’s film

"Veera Simha Reddy," starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, debuted on screens across the world on January 12. Despite receiving mixed initial reviews, the movie is making impressive box office collections in its first weekend. The film's female lead is Shruti Haasan. It is produced by Mythri Movie Makers, which is owned by Y Ravi Shankar and Naveen Yerneni. Veera Simha Reddy's creators reportedly have locked down the OTT release date and platform.

Leading OTT service Disney+ Hotstar has acquired the digital streaming rights of Veera Simha Reddy. In the latter half of February or in the first few days of March, the movie is anticipated to make its streaming service debut. But as of now, neither a confirmation nor a denial has been made by the makers of the film.

In addition to Kannada actor Duniya Vijay making his Telugu debut, the movie also features Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Honey Rose, Naveen Chandra, Easwari Rao, Malayalam actor Lal, Murali Sharma, and others in significant roles.


The story centres on Jai (Balakrishna), a pillar of strength in his mother Meenakshi's (Honey Rose) life and the owner of an auto store in Istanbul. He meets aspiring singer Isha (Shruti Haasan) at a bar, and despite their initial conflict, they end up falling in love. Meenakshi reveals to Jai information she had been keeping from him all along about her past and the legacy of his father Veera Simha Reddy (Balakrishna), just as Jai and Isha are getting ready to get married.

The film is edited by Navin Nooli. The dialogue was written by Sai Madhav Burra, and AS Prakash served as the production designer. Music lovers became fond of songs like Suguna Sundari, Maa Bava Manobhavalu, and Jai Balayya. Additionally, Disney+ Hotstar had purchased the streaming rights to Boyapati Srinu's previous blockbuster film Akhanda, which starred Balakrishna.
