Varun Dhawan confirmed for lead role in 'Citadel' by Russo Brothers. Details inside

Prime Video announced Varun Dhawan as lead talent of the Indian installment of the 'Citadel' universe by Russo Brothers. The 'Citadel' series based out of India will be directed by renowned duo Raj & DK. The filming of the upcoming local spy series will begin in January 2023. Badlapur actor will be seen opposite Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the series.

The Russo brothers expressed their happiness of introducing Citadel universe in India. “We are thrilled to officially announce that we will be bringing you the Indian installment of the Citadel universe. The local Original spy series will start filming in January 2023.”

Citadel is an upcoming American science fiction drama television series created by Patrick Moran and the Russo brothers made exclusively for Amazon Prime Video. Priyanka Chopra will be seen as Citadel agent Nadia Singh opposite Richard Madden as Citadel agent Mason Kane in the American version.
