Varisu vs Thunivu Box Office Collection: Vijay's film outperforms Ajith's on Day 18

In the world of Kollywood, two of the biggest stars, Thalapathy Vijay and Ajith Kumar, went head to head as their films, Varisu and Thunivu, respectively, were released on January 11th. Both films had a successful run at the box office, with Varisu positioning itself in the Rs 150 Cr club and Thunivu crossing the Rs 100 Cr milestone. The action-packed film stars Ajith in a slightly negative character as the "boss man" who takes hostages at a bank, with police trying to figure out his identity. Despite the film's slower pace, Ajith's look and performance as the "boss man" were praised by fans.
