Varisu Box Office Collection Day 7: Vijay Thalapathy’s movie shows no sign of slowing down, film crosses 150 crores globally

There is no stopping Vijay's movie ‘Varisu’ at the box office as the film exceeded Rs 150 crore globally and had a busy box office Tuesday. On January 17, the film is reported to have grossed almost Rs 17 crore. People are flocking to the theatres in large numbers to see the commercial drama. Varisu fared exceptionally well given that it was a holiday.

Even just after seven days, the picture has amassed a double-digit box office haul. Ajith's Thunivu, which was published on the same day as 'Varisu', has lagged somewhat behind, but it has also received a lot of appreciation from fans.

All eyes are now on the film's performance during the weekdays to see how it holds up in theatres. Aside from the Indian box office, the family entertainer is performing exceptionally well in the international market.
