'Varisu' Box office Collection Day 6: Thalapathy Vijay's film earns Rs 150 crore internationally

Thalapathy Vijay's 'Varisu', is having a phenomenal run at the box office throughout the world. The film took in over Rs 150 crore internationally in only five days at the box office. With January 17 being a holiday in Tamil Nadu, the film will have yet another interesting day at the box office, as more people will be flocking to the theatres. Despite facing heavy competition in the theatres, both Thunivu and Varisu are performing remarkably well.


Varisu was released in theatres on January 11 amid high anticipation from fans. The film competed with Ajith Kumar's Thunivu, directed by H Vinoth, at the box office. On January 16, Sri Venkateswara Creations' official Twitter handle reported that the film has earned Rs 150 crore globally in only five days.
