Valentine's Day Film Festival: PVR Cinema announces plans to re-release romantic classic movies for a week

Valentine's week just got a bit more exciting for PVR Cinema patrons, as officials announced that they have plans to re-release many classics in a specially curated Valentine's Day Film Festival.

The film festival includes movies from popular Bollywood, Hollywood, and other regional romantic films from across 25 cities in India.



Yash Raj Films, took the opportunity to announce the re-release of Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, by tweeting "Come fall in love with #DDLJ all over again, in cinemas tomorrow onwards for 1 week!"


The film festival is the perfect opportunity to take your loved one on a all-expenses paid movie marathon of all their favorite romantic movies.

The week-long festival is all set to start today, 10th February and will end on 16th February. The some of the films being re-released include, Titanic (English), Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (Hindi), Tamasha (Hindi), Jab We Met (Hindi), Ticket to Paradise (English), Ved (Marathi), Geetha Govindam (Telugu), Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa (Tamil), Hridayam (Malayalam), Googly (Kannada), Love Ni Bhavai (Gujarati) and many more.

Commenting on the occasion, Mr Gautam Dutta, CEO, PVR Limited said, “The passion for cinemas among audiences around this festival remains unchanged and it has always been our endeavor to make every moment memorable for our patrons. PVR has put together a bundle of experiences to make the occasion truly special in every possible way.”

The film festival with these movie re-releases will take place in 25 cities across India.
