Vaikunta Dwara Darshanam: Facility for online ticket booking opens ahead of Vaikunta Ekadasi, see details

The online ticket booking facility for the Vaikunta Dwara Darshanam has commenced in full swing by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams. The pious period of the Vaikunta Ekadasi is just around the corner. The 10-day period of the Vaikunta Ekadasi will be observed from 2nd January 2023 to 11th January 2023.

The tickets for Special Darshan, which cost around INR 300, opened online at 9 am on the 24th of December. These tickets, once purchased, will be applicable from January 1 to 11, 2023.

Previously, the TTD said that Rs 300 Special Entry Darshan tickets for New Year's Day on January 1, 2023, and Vaikunta Dwara Darshanam during January 2-11, 2023 will be available online at 9 a.m. on December 24.


Worshippers are asked to keep this in mind and register appropriately.

Every day, around 50,000 people visit the Sri Venkateswara Temple. Given the high volume of pilgrims, the TTD has implemented online digital services for ticket purchases.

As per the data of TTD, it was opined that on December 23, 2022, alone 62,055 pilgrims had darshan.
On December 23, 2022, the annual Adhyayanotsavams began at Ranganayakula Mandapam in Tirumala temple.

This longest yearly event lasts 25 days, beginning 11 days before Vaikuntha Ekadasi and ending on January 15.

The event is exceptional as all 4000 hymns written by 12 Alwars, known as Nalayira Divyprabandha Pasurams, will be chanted daily, according to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam in an announcement.
