Vaibhav Sooryavanshi's Bihar home is far from a celebrity mansion: Inside the house, family life and roots of cricket's teenage sensation

From smashing sixes in the Indian Premier League (IPL) to making headlines at an age when most teenagers are still figuring out their future, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has come a long way. But away from the cricket ground, the young batter remains connected to his roots in Tajpur, a town in Bihar's Samastipur district. His family home offers a glimpse into the life he grew up in, the support behind his cricketing journey and the sacrifices that helped him chase his dream. Vaibhav's family home is in Tajpur, in the Mithila region of Bihar. The two-storey house, with a balcony and greenery around it, has a simple, lived-in feel rather than the look of a celebrity mansion.

The home represents the early years of a young cricketer whose career has taken off remarkably quickly. While there is little publicly verified information about the property's size, interiors or market value, pictures shared on social media offer occasional glimpses of his life with his family.

The family support behind Vaibhav Sooryavanshi's cricket journey

Behind Vaibhav's rise is a family that backed his ambition from an early age. His father has been widely reported to have made sacrifices to support his son's cricket training, including setting up a practice net close to their home.

Having a place to practise would have given the young batter more time to work on his game. For many cricketers, the journey starts long before they play in big stadiums, appear on TV or hear crowds cheering their names.

Family selfies, celebrations and life away from cricket

Vaibhav's social media posts also offer glimpses of his life outside cricket. From family selfies to festive moments at home, the pictures capture a more familiar side of the young sportsman.

For a player whose performances have brought him national and international attention, these everyday moments offer a connection to the people and place that have been part of his journey from the beginning.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi's IPL records and rise to fame

Born on March 27, 2011, in Tajpur, Vaibhav became one of the youngest players to be picked in IPL history. His left-handed batting and aggressive approach have helped him attract attention well beyond his home state.

He made his first-class debut in January 2024 and went on to make headlines in the IPL. In the 2025 season, he hit a century off just 35 balls, one of the fastest hundreds in the tournament's history.

Vaibhav was bought by Rajasthan Royals for Rs 1.10 crore in 2025 and was retained by the franchise for the 2026 season. His performances in age-group cricket, including centuries in Under-19 matches, have further strengthened his reputation as a young player to watch.

What is the estimated value of Vaibhav Sooryavanshi's house?

There is no publicly verified valuation of Vaibhav's family home in Tajpur. Estimates for independent houses in smaller towns can vary widely depending on the plot size, construction, location and local property rates.

Without verified details about the property, any specific figure for the house's value would be speculative. Its significance, however, goes beyond a price tag: it is the family home associated with the early stages of a cricketing career that has already attracted considerable attention.
