Opposition has slammed the BJP government of Uttar Pradesh over the highway, which was inaugurated barely a week back by PM Narendra Modi on July 16.

Incessant rains over the past few days have caused considerable damage to the highway at Chhiriya Salempur in Jalaun Tehsil.

Videos which were shared by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the Samajwadi Party (SP) showed that some repair work is being done to control the damage to the affected part of the highway.
The AAP lashed out at the BJP govt and said that the double engine government's much touted highway couldn't even survive for a week.
