Utpanna Ekadashi Significance

The legend of Utpanna Ekadashi revolves around Lord Vishnu's battle with the demon Murasura. As the story goes, Vishnu fought Murasura for many years before retreating to rest in Himavati cave. When Murasura attempted to kill the resting deity, a divine feminine energy appeared and defeated the demon. Upon awakening, Vishnu acknowledged this energy as Utpanna Ekadashi and blessed the day with sacred importance.
