Jaiswal’s post detailed a troubling incident where his father’s shop in Varanasi was allegedly unlawfully occupied. According to a note shared by Jaiswal, a group of individuals, led by an employee of the shop, forcefully broke the locks and took possession of the premises. The note further claimed that the employee, who falsely presented himself as the shop’s owner, replaced the locks and began harassing other family members living on the property.
Following the widespread circulation of Jaiswal’s post, the Uttar Pradesh Police intervened, stating that a First Information Report (FIR) had been filed. According to the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Kashi Zone, the dispute is related to a family matter between Jaiswal and his sister’s son. The DCP confirmed that an investigation has begun, and action will be taken based on the merits of the case.
In his post, Jaiswal also thanked the police for their response and clarified that one of his cousins was causing the trouble. The note shared by Jaiswal on behalf of his father revealed further details of the dispute. It stated: "This person is a relative who has a gun and has been indirectly threatening for a long time. I've recordings of him cornering me and harassing me. He's constantly trying to extort money." The note ended with a plea for help: "It's a cry for help. If there's someone honest and wants to help. I've all the documentation, rights, proof of no wrong-doing."
