US Ambassador Sergio Gor visits Lalbaugcha Raja in Mumbai on Ganesh Chaturthi, says ‘the energy is incredible’

US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor visited the famous Lalbaugcha Raja pandal in Mumbai on Monday to mark Ganesh Chaturthi and offered prayers at the iconic shrine.

Sergio Gor Visits Lalbaugcha Raja Pandal

During his visit, Gor spoke to ANI and described the experience of being at one of Mumbai's most renowned Ganesh Chaturthi pandals as an honour. He praised the atmosphere and energy surrounding the celebrations and encouraged people who have never experienced the festivities at Lalbaugcha Raja to visit.

"It's absolutely incredible. I'm honoured to be here. It's great to be invited. I think everybody should come here and see this, because there aren't many places that are this vibrant. The energy is incredible. It's hard to describe if you're not here. So if you've not been here, come," he said.


Ganesh Chaturthi Celebrations Across Maharashtra

The 10-day Ganesh Chaturthi festival is being celebrated with enthusiasm across Maharashtra and several other parts of India. Devotees have welcomed Lord Ganesha into their homes and community pandals, with prayers and celebrations taking place throughout the festival.

Mumbai remains one of the major centres of Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. Every year, thousands of devotees visit prominent pandals across the city, including Lalbaugcha Raja, to seek Lord Ganesha's blessings amid chants of 'Ganpati Bappa Morya'.
