The UPTET 2026 examination is scheduled to be conducted from July 2 to July 4 for both Paper 1 and Paper 2 across multiple examination centres in Uttar Pradesh. Candidates who have registered for both papers must download separate admit cards for each examination.
UPTET 2026 Exam Schedule
According to the official schedule, Paper 2, meant for candidates aspiring to teach Classes 6 to 8, will be held on July 2 in two shifts — from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM and from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM. The same paper will also be conducted on July 3 during the morning session.Paper 1, for candidates seeking eligibility to teach Classes 1 to 5, will be conducted on July 3 in the afternoon shift and on July 4 in the morning shift. Candidates are required to report to their examination centres at least one hour before the commencement of the examination.
How to Download UPTET Admit Card 2026
Candidates can follow these steps to access their hall tickets:- Visit the official UPESSC website.
- Click on the UPTET Admit Card 2026 link.
- Select the UPTET 2026 examination option.
- Enter the registration number or mobile number.
- Fill in the required details, including name or father's name, date of birth and security code.
- Submit the information.
- Download and print the admit card for future reference.
After downloading the hall ticket, candidates should carefully verify all details printed on it, including their name, examination date, reporting time, photograph and allotted examination centre.
UPTET 2026 Exam Pattern
The UPTET examination will be conducted in offline mode using OMR sheets. Each paper will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions carrying a total of 150 marks. Candidates will be given 150 minutes to complete the test.There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.
