UPSC EPFO Recruitment 2025: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has started the application process for recruitment in the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) under the Ministry of Labour and Employment. Interested and eligible candidates can now apply online at upsc.gov.in or upsconline.nic.in. The last date to apply is 18 August 2025.

Number of Vacancies

• Enforcement Officer/Accounts Officer (EO/AO) – 56 posts
• Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner (APFC) – 74 posts

Who Can Apply?

• For EO/AO: A bachelor’s degree in any subject from a recognised university or institute.
• For APFC: A degree or equivalent from a recognised university.

Age Limit

• EO/AO: Maximum 30 years (Relaxation: +5 years for SC/ST, +3 years for OBC)
• APFC: Maximum 35 years (Relaxation: OBC – 38 years, SC/ST – 40 years, PwBD – 45 years)

Application Dates

• Start Date: 29 July 2025 (from 12 PM)
• Last Date: 18 August 2025
• Exam Date: To be announced on UPSC’s website

Application Fee

• Rs 25 for General, OBC, and EWS candidates
• No fee for SC, ST, PwBD, and female applicants

Exam and Selection Process

UPSC will conduct a Combined Recruitment Test (CRT) on paper, followed by an interview for shortlisted candidates. Final selection will be based on a combined score from both stages:

• CRT marks: 75% weightage
• Interview marks: 25% weightage

The test will be held in 78 cities across India. Centre allocation is on a first-come-first-serve basis, except for Chennai, Dispur, Kolkata, and Nagpur.

Salary Structure

• EO/AO: Pay Level 8 (as per the 7th Pay Commission)
