UPSC CSE prelims 2025 admit card out: Check steps to download, direct link and other details

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the admit cards for the Civil Services Examination (CSE) Prelims 2025. Registered candidates can now download their admit cards from the official website, upsc.gov.in, using their application number and date of birth.

This year, the UPSC aims to fill 979 vacancies through the CSE, including key roles in the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and Indian Foreign Service (IFS). Additionally, 150 posts will be filled via the Indian Forest Service Examination 2025. The CSE Prelims 2025 will be held on May 25.

The Civil Services Examination is conducted annually to select candidates for various Group A and Group B services in the Government of India. Along with IAS, IPS and IFS, selection will also be done for Indian Railway Accounts Service, Indian Postal Service, Indian Trade Service, and other allied services. The selection process comprises three stages—Prelims, Mains and Interview. Based on the performance in these stages, a final merit list will be prepared.
