UPSC CSE Result 2025 Toppers List: Anuj Agnihotri secures top position
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the Civil Services Examination (CSE) final result 2025 on Friday on its official website. Anuj Agnihotri has secured the first position, Rajeshwari Suve M and Akansh Dhull bagged the second and third ranks respectively. Who is Anuj Agnihotri?

Anuj Agnihotri, a doctor by profession, completed his medical education from AIIMS Jodhpur in 2023. Hailing from Rawatbhata, Rajasthan, he transitioned from medicine to administration after graduating from one of India’s premier medical institutes. Anuj is now pursuing a career in DANICS, a prestigious Group B (Gazetted) civil service, tasked with handling key administrative responsibilities in the National Capital Territory of Delhi and other Union Territories, according to a report in Testbook. Anuj Agnihotri took part in the competitive exam under the General category.


UPSC CSE 2025 Result

A total of 958 candidates have qualified the examination and are recommended for appointment to different central civil services, the Commission said. The civil services examination is conducted annually in three stages -- preliminary, main and interview -- by the UPSC to select officers of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and Indian Police Service (IPS) among others.

The candidature of 348 recommended candidates has been kept provisional, the Commission said in a statement.

The Centre had reported 1,087 vacancies to be filled through the civil services examination. The rigorous selection process included written examinations in August 2025 and personality tests completed by February 2026.

The UPSC has a "facilitation counter" near the examination hall in its campus. Candidates can obtain any information/clarification regarding their examinations/recruitments on the working days between 10 am to 5 pm in person or over telephone numbers 23385271/23381125/23098543.

"Marks will be available on the website within 15 days from the date of declaration of result," the statement said.

This merit-based list paves the way for the next generation of officers to join the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and various Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’ Central Services. The UPSC said as many as 958 candidates have qualified civil services examination 2025.
