UPSC: Civil services (Mains) results out. Here's how to apply for Interview

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) declared the final results of the Civil Services exam on their official website on December 6, Tuesday. Candidates can check their UPSC Civil Service results at upsc.gov.in.

The Civil Service (Main) Exam was conducted from 16th September to 25th September, 2022. The shortlisted candidates will now have to appear for the Personality Test (Interview) round for selection to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and other Central Services.

The dates of these candidates' Personality Tests (Interviews) will be announced in due time, and will take place at the Union Public Service Commission's office at Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069. All candidates who qualify for the Personality Tests (Interviews) must fill out and submit their Detailed Application Form-II (DAFII) and Attestation Form online.


The Commission has advised all candidates who have qualified for the Personality Tests (Interviews) to fill up online within the prescribed time limit.

The eligible candidates will be required to produce the original certificates in support of their eligibility/reservation claims viz. age, educational qualifications, community, economically weaker section, Person with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) and TA Form etc. at the time of their Personality Test (Interview).


The candidates seeking reservation/relaxation benefits available for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD/Ex-servicemen etc., must also produce original certificate(s)issued by the closing date of the application of the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2022.

E-Summon Letters of Personality Tests (Interviews) of the candidates can be downloaded from the Commission’s Website https://www.upsc.gov.in & https://www.upsconline.in.
