UPPSC Results 2026: Commission to declare results for 5,000+ posts over next six weeks. Check important dates

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) is set to announce recruitment results for more than 5,000 posts over the next six weeks, bringing relief to thousands of candidates awaiting outcomes of various government recruitment examinations. The results will cover vacancies across government secondary schools, degree colleges, polytechnics and other departments, according to a report of the Times of India.

The UPPSC LT Grade Teacher recruitment accounts for the largest share, with results for 4,917 posts scheduled to be declared in phases by September 30. Results for 58 Commerce and 188 Sanskrit posts are expected by August 30, while results for 1,791 Science and Home Science posts and 1,240 Mathematics posts are likely by September 15. The result for 924 Biology posts is scheduled for September 25, while the final result for 716 Hindi posts is expected by September 30.

The UPPSC LT Grade result 2025 is being closely watched by candidates as the recruitment covers thousands of teaching vacancies in Uttar Pradesh government secondary schools. The commission is also scheduled to announce the result for 21 Principal posts in government polytechnics by September 7.


Another major recruitment exercise covers 1,253 Assistant Professor posts across 28 subjects in government degree colleges. The UPPSC is expected to release the preliminary examination result by the end of August, while the Main Examination is scheduled to be held between September 15 and October 1. The final selection process is expected to be completed by the end of December.

For UPPSC PCS 2025, the commission has set October 8 as the deadline for announcing the Main Examination result. A total of 11,403 candidates appeared for the PCS Main Examination, which was conducted from March 29 to April 1 for 814 posts. The commission will also announce the Main Examination results for 106 Assistant Conservator of Forest/Range Forest Officer posts and 182 Assistant Prosecution Officer posts by November 30. Meanwhile, the preliminary examination result for eight Assistant Town Planner posts is expected by September 15.

UPPSC LT Grade Recruitment 2026

The UPPSC had announced recruitment for 7,466 Assistant Teacher posts under the Trained Graduate Grade (TGT) Male/Female Branch Examination in 2025. The recruitment covers subjects including Hindi, English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Biology, Sanskrit, Art, Computer, Physical Education and others. Eligibility varies according to the subject, with a recognised B.Ed. qualification required for most posts.

The UPPSC LT Grade selection process consists of a Preliminary Examination followed by a Main Examination. The Preliminary Examination has 150 objective-type questions carrying 300 marks and is conducted for two hours. Candidates shortlisted for the Main Examination will appear for a three-hour descriptive paper carrying 200 marks. The commission has specified that candidates up to 15 times the number of vacancies will be shortlisted for the Main Examination based on their Preliminary Examination performance.
