UPPSC PCS prelims admit card released on uppsc.up.nic.in, check details

The Uttar Pradesh Service Commission issued the admit card for the UPPSC PCS Prelims Admit Card 2023. The admit card for the Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services Exam 2023 can be downloaded from the official website of the Commission uppsc.up.nic.in.
The Provincial Civil Service (PCS) preliminary exam 2023 will be conducted on May 14 across Uttar Pradesh in two shifts. The first shift begins from 9:30 am to 11:30 pm and the second shift will commence from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm in 51 districts.

As per the official website of UPPSSC, there are approximately 173 vacancies for the present state or upper subordinate services examination. However, the number of vacancies may change as per necessity.


The UPPSC exams will be held offline and the pattern of the questions will be multiple-choice. Once the candidates qualify
for the preliminary examination, they will be eligible to appear for the Mains examination followed by an interview round.

UPPSC PCS 2023: Here’s how to download the admit card

Step 1: Go to the official website of UPPSC at uppsc.up.nic.in.
Step 2: Check the homepage and click on UPPSC PCS Prelims Admit Card 2023 link.
Step 3: Enter your details to login.
Step 4: Click on Submit and your admit card will be displayed on the screen.
Step 5: Download the admit card and save it for future reference.

The UPPSC PCS Exam will be conducted for two hours. Candidates have to solve a total of 150 questions from General Studies 1 (GS) and 100 questions from CSAT (qualifying in nature).

While the candidates must appear for both papers, paper-II will be the qualifying paper and candidates will have to score a minimum of 33 per cent to qualify the merit of the candidates will be assessed on the marks obtained in paper-I.
