UPPSC PCS prelims exam pattern

The UPPSC Preliminary Exam consists of two objective-style papers:

• I. General Studies I – 200 marks, two-hour duration, and will determine eligibility for the main examination.
• II. General Studies II (CSAT) – 200 marks, two-hour duration, serving as a qualifying paper. Candidates are required to secure only 33 percent marks in this paper to move to the next stage.
