UPMSP opens portal again for pending Class 12 practical marks submission; check official notice

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) will reopen its official portal on April 6 and 7, 2026 to allow schools to upload pending practical examination marks for Class 12 students, after delays affected the submission process across several centres in the state.

The decision comes after thousands of students were impacted due to non-uploading of practical marks, with officials confirming that the results of nearly 34,637 students have been affected across 652 practical examination centres.

According to Secretary Bhagwati Singh, the move has been taken to ensure that the evaluation process is completed smoothly and that students are not further affected due to administrative lapses or technical issues on the portal.


The Board had earlier set February 13, 2026 as the deadline for submission of practical marks, which was already an extended timeline. However, several schools failed to upload the marks on time, reportedly due to technical difficulties and procedural delays.


Officials noted that the final results are prepared based on combined theory and practical marks, making timely submission crucial for accurate evaluation and result declaration.

The Board has now directed all schools and external examiners to ensure completion of the upload process within the reopened window. It has also warned that strict action may be taken against institutions that fail to comply, including accountability measures for delays.

Authorities have emphasised that the step is aimed at preventing further delays in result declaration and ensuring that students’ academic progression is not disrupted.
