Mahindra & Mahindra is expected to unveil multiple new products and mobility solutions during its three-day Independence Day event, continuing its annual tradition of showcasing future-ready technologies, concept vehicles and next-generation models on August 15.

The company is yet to officially announce the lineup for this year's event. However, the upcoming showcase is expected to feature the 2026 Scorpio N facelift, the production-ready Vision S and the near-production version of the BE 07 electric SUV.

2026 Mahindra Scorpio N facelift expected to debut

The 2026 Mahindra Scorpio N facelift is likely to make its official debut next month with subtle exterior and interior updates while retaining its existing powertrain options.

Spy images suggest the SUV will receive a redesigned front grille, revised headlamps, an updated front bumper and newly designed larger alloy wheels. The side profile is expected to remain largely unchanged.

Inside the cabin, the facelifted SUV is likely to feature a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ventilated front seats, a new digital instrument cluster and a panoramic sunroof. Mahindra may also expand the availability of its Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) by offering it on lower variants. The SUV is expected to continue with the existing 2.2-litre turbo diesel and 2.0-litre turbo petrol engines.

Production-ready Mahindra Vision S likely on August 15

Mahindra is also expected to unveil the production-ready version of the Vision S concept-based sub-4 metre SUV on August 15. The model will be the first to use the company's new NU_IQ architecture.

The production model is expected to retain the concept's tall, boxy design while omitting or offering as optional accessories elements such as bonnet-integrated limb risers, roof-mounted lights, a stepladder and a jerry can.

As the NU_IQ platform supports multiple powertrains, the Vision S is expected to be offered with petrol, diesel, hybrid and electric options.

Mahindra BE 07 to appear in near-production form

The BE 07 electric SUV, based on Mahindra's INGLO platform, is also expected to be showcased in a near-production avatar during the Independence Day event.

The SUV is likely to retain most of the futuristic styling seen on the concept, including a closed-off grille, sharply designed LED projector headlamps, LED fog lamps, a sporty front bumper, large alloy wheels, a sloping roofline, vertically stacked LED tail lamps and a short rear windscreen.

The BE 07 is expected to share its powertrain with the XUV 9S, which is currently offered with 59 kWh, 70 kWh and 79 kWh battery pack options.

Mahindra continues Independence Day showcase tradition

Mahindra has consistently used its Independence Day celebrations to unveil future mobility concepts and technologies. In previous years, the company has showcased the born-electric XUV.e and BE concepts, the Thar.e, the Global Pik Up concept and the Vision concepts based on the NU_IQ platform. This year's three-day event is expected to continue that tradition with several new launches and unveilings.
