Indian actress, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s fake passport has been recovered by the Uttar Pradesh police.

A senior official said on Friday that three foreigners who are residents in Greater Noida were detained for allegedly being involved in cyber fraud and having in their hands a fake passport created in the name of film star Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
The police had filed a fraud charge after receiving a complaint from a former Army personnel who had been scammed out of Rs. 1.81 crore. According to the police officer, the inquiry led to three suspects- Two from Nigeria and one from Ghana.

According to authorities, the fake passport included an image of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Abhishek Verma, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Greater Noida), stated that during the arrest, police found USD 3,000 (about 2.5 lakh) and 10,500 pounds (approximately 10.60 lakh) from the three men's possession.
According to him, the police also confiscated fake Indian currency notes with a face value of more than 10.76 crore, as well as hundreds of bundles of fake US dollar and British pound banknotes. According to the police, they recovered six mobile phones, 11 SIM cards, computers, printers, and other items utilized by the group in illicit activity. The inquiry for this case is now underway.
