The Uttar Pradesh government has launched a month-long training program for hospital staff across all 75 districts to improve healthcare delivery. The program aims to digitise patient records and provide faster access to medical reports, reducing the burden on patients. Medical superintendents, lab technicians, and computer operators at Community Health Centers (CHCs) are participating in the sessions. The training is organised by POCT Services with support from the NGO PQSDF under CSR funding.

Once trained, hospital staff will register every patient through an Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA). Patients’ digital health records will be generated, and pathology reports will be sent directly to their mobile phones via WhatsApp or SMS.

The program is being conducted under the supervision of the state’s Chief Medical Officers and is part of the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission. Officials said the move is expected to streamline hospital services and make healthcare more accessible across the state.

In relation to this Saurabh Garg, Chairman, said, “Through this training, people will be able to work more effectively, which will directly benefit the public. We will continue to take such initiatives in the future so that the maximum number of people can gain from them."
