UP Home Guard Recruitment 2025: Over 41,000 vacancies announced, check eligibility, application fees, and other key details

The Uttar Pradesh Home Guard Department has opened applications for 41,424 Home Guard positions, with 20% of the vacancies reserved for women. Eligible candidates can submit their forms on the official website until December 17. Any applications submitted after the deadline will automatically be rejected.

OTR Required Before Application

• Applicants must complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) before filling out the online form.
• The OTR link was activated earlier to simplify the registration process and store basic personal details.
• Candidates who have already completed OTR for past recruitments do not need to register again.
• For new applicants, completing OTR is compulsory.
• So far, more than one lakh candidates have successfully completed their OTR.

Application Fees

The fee structure is as follows:

• General, OBC, EWS: ₹400
• SC/ST: ₹300

The application will be accepted only after successful fee payment. Applicants must upload all required documents before making the final payment.

Common Mistakes That Lead to Rejection

The department has warned candidates to avoid errors that may result in disqualification.

Your form may be rejected if:

• You submit it without completing OTR.
• The information provided is incorrect.
• Mandatory documents are missing or improperly uploaded.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply, candidates must meet the following conditions:

• Educational Qualification: Must have passed Class 10.
• Age Limit: 18 to 30 years.

Candidates who fail to meet these criteria are not eligible for the recruitment process.

Salary and Selection Process

Applicants will be selected after clearing a physical efficiency test.

Selected Home Guards will receive:

• Daily allowance: ₹600
• Dearness allowance (DA) in addition

Home Guards assist the Uttar Pradesh Police in various duties and may also be deployed to different locations as needed.
