UP Board Result Date 2026: Evaluation starts tomorrow; check result date, passing marks, steps at upresults.nic.in

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) conducted the UP Board Class 10 and Class 12 examinations from February 18 to March 12, 2026. With the exams now over, the board is preparing to start the next phase of the process.

According to officials, the evaluation of answer sheets will begin on March 18. This year, the checking process will be conducted with tighter monitoring and the use of digital systems to ensure accuracy and transparency.

Evaluation process to be conducted under high security

The board has planned strict security arrangements for the evaluation process. A large number of experienced teachers will be involved in assessing the UP Board Class 10 and Class 12 answer sheets, and the process will take place under CCTV surveillance.


Evaluation centres will also follow additional security measures such as coding and decoding of answer sheets to maintain confidentiality and prevent any irregularities.

UP Board Results 2026 expected in April

Once the evaluation process is completed, the board will begin compiling the results. Based on the current schedule, the UP Board Class 10 and Class 12 results 2026 are expected to be announced in the second week of April or later.

How to check UP Board Class 10, 12 Results 2026 online

Once the results are declared, students can follow these steps to access their scorecards online:
Step 1: Visit the official website upresults.nic.in or upmsp.edu.in.
Step 2: Click on the link “U. P. Board High School (Class X) Examination – 2026 Results” or “U. P. Board Intermediate (Class XII) Examination – 2026 Results.”
Step 3: Enter your Roll Number. Class 12 students may also need to enter their School Code, which is mentioned on the admit card.
Step 4: Fill in the Captcha code displayed on the screen and click Submit.
Step 5: Your result will appear on the screen. Download it and take a printout for future reference.

Passing criteria for UP Board exams

To clear the UP Board examinations, students must obtain at least 33 per cent marks in each subject as well as overall. The marksheet will display a ‘P’ indicating a “pass" status for students who successfully meet the criteria.

Compartment and re-evaluation options

Students who fail in one or more subjects will have the opportunity to appear for compartment examinations conducted by the board.

Meanwhile, candidates who are not satisfied with their marks can apply for re-evaluation of their answer sheets through the UP Board’s official re-evaluation portal after the results are declared.
