UP Board Result 2023: UPMSP High School and Inter results expected to be out soon; Check all details here

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Parishad (UPMSP) will soon publish the results for the Class 10 and 12 board exams that took place between February 16 and March 4, 2023. It is expected that the results for the high school and intermediate board exams will be announced by UPMSP on or before April 27, and students can access their scores on the official website of the board, upmsp.edu.in.

To clear the Uttar Pradesh Board exams in 2023, a minimum score of 33 per cent is required. Students who do not pass one or more subjects are required to take compartment exams.

The evaluation process for this year's Uttar Pradesh Board exams concluded on March 31, and the students' scores are now being calculated. In order to evaluate the 3.19 crore answer papers, UPMSP enlisted 1,43,933 expert examiners. The total number of answer sheets for class 10 and class 12 students was approximately 1.86 crore and 1.33 crore, respectively.


Over the years, the pass percentages for class 10 and class 12 UP Board exams have consistently exceeded 85 per cent. In the previous year's UP Board class 10 results, the overall pass percentage was 88.18 per cent. In 2022, girls outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 91.6 per cent compared to boys' pass percentage of 85.25 per cent. Among all districts, Gautam Budha Nagar had the highest pass percentage, followed by Etawah and Amethi.

UP Board Class 12 and Class 10 pass percentage from 2022 to 2019:

The pass percentages for UP Board Class 10 results over the years have been as follows: 80.07% in 2019, 83% in 2020, 99.53% in 2021, and 88.18% in 2022.

The pass percentages for UP Board Class 12 results over the years have been as follows: 72.43% in 2018, 80.07% in 2019, 83.31% in 2020, 97.88% in 2021, and 85.33% in 2022.

In 2022, 22,37,578 candidates took the intermediate examination, out of which 19,90,249 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 85.33. Although this percentage was lower than the 97.88 per cent pass rate in 2021, it is higher than the pass rates of pre-pandemic years. Girls had a higher pass rate of 90.15 per cent compared to boys at 81.21 per cent. In 2021, boys had a pass rate of 97.47 per cent, while girls had a pass rate of 98.4 per cent in the UP intermediate exam.
